We understand that receiving your garment on time is crucial, especially if you are ordering for a special event. If your order does not arrive by the date of your event, we have a few policies in place to ensure that you are taken care of.

We have a number of suggestions to consider when caring for the garment are renting from us.

Please note that if any damages result from your rental you will be liable for our damage fees.

Damage Waiver

To provide our customers with added peace of mind, Fundarentals offers an optional Damage Waiver for $15 NZD per rental.

The Damage Waiver is non-refundable and provides cover for up to $200 NZD towards the cost of repairing or replacing a garment that has been accidentally damaged during your rental period.

If the total cost of repairing or replacing the garment exceeds $200 NZD, the renter will be responsible for paying the remaining balance.

For example, if the repair or replacement cost totals $350 NZD, the Damage Waiver will cover the first $200 NZD, and the renter will be responsible for the remaining $150 NZD.

If the repair or replacement cost is $200 NZD or less, no additional payment will be required beyond the purchase of the Damage Waiver.

The Damage Waiver may be applied towards accidental stains, tears, fabric damage, broken zips, missing embellishments, or any other accidental damage that occurs while the garment is in the renter’s care. All repairs and assessments will be arranged solely by Fundarentals.

Fundarentals reserves the exclusive right to determine whether a garment can be professionally repaired or whether it is considered beyond repair and requires replacement. The repair or replacement value will be assessed at the sole discretion of Fundarentals.

The Damage Waiver does not transfer ownership of the garment and does not remove the renter’s responsibility to take reasonable care of the garment throughout the rental period
